Yellowstone, Madison Campground, Yellowstone may have been our favorite place, All of the hot Springs, geysers, Cooler weather and wildlife made it pretty neat. It would be real interesting if you could go back in time and see all of the events that happened in that place…. Along the north road there is a petrified tree, they think it was a redwood, which is much larger than most of the other trees there now. I didn’t realize there were so many hot pools of water putting out steam for miles… It’s an amazing thing that God is put together there.

July 13 & 14

We spent these two nights at glacier campground. We all hiked a 1.5  miles (one way)of the Grenell trail and then me India and Winter hiked the Highland Trail down to the loop. That proved to be a little bit much but we made itπŸ˜€ The mountains are beautiful. If you’re not too tired to enjoy them. Hope you can enjoy a few more pictures.

Drove up from counsel to Bonners ferry, Some beautiful farmland about halfway up to Spokane, Lots of small grain growing on huge fields,  Bonners ferry is a beautiful combination of mountains and farmland. Norman’s were very hospitable to us and made us feel at home. That’s an amazing beans salad with pork chop sandwiches. The chops were freshly grilled to perfection. It was obvious something he had done before.πŸ˜€ I’ve been noticing lots of shed builders all over the country. Normans took us around to wildlife refuge then later showed us kind of a neat Bridge. We’re currently on our way to glacier national Park I’m looking forward to being there. Till later Paul

July 11 night

July 9 Prairie Creek State Park California

All evening there was a mist rolling overhead about 3/4 the way up the trees. It was beautiful. They had some trails around the campsites that had huge redwoods and lots of green. Some of the trees had some plants growing on them that looked a little like Spanish moss.

Oregon Beach July 10. Night

Image
We traveled up the coast of Oregon Today We are spending the evening and night at Nehalem Bay state Park. Below are some pictures of our travel up here and the beach.  The air museum building was huge, it was a blimp hangar in World War II. Now they have it filled with airplanes that you can go in to see. We didn’t feel like spending the money on itπŸ˜€. Paul
